Hospitalero Training in Calgary in 2020!

After completing one, or several caminos, many pilgrims express a desire to be a part of the Camino de Santiago in a different way and, interest in assisting pilgrims in hostels continues to grow year after year.

There will be a hospitalero training session in Calgary in 2020.
The course will begin with a reception on Friday evening April 24 followed by sessions on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26. The cost is $125 and includes training materials, reception, breakfasts and lunches. If you are from out of town you can be billeted by Calgary pilgrims. The only requirement for course enrolment is having walked one Camino. To maximize learning, a maximum of 16 participants will be accepted.

If you have walked a camino and this course appeals to you, you can now reserve a spot, please contact Monique Rigole by email at

Being a hospitalero(a) is a privilege, it is a rewarding and personally enriching experience.
